Meet your fitter
Hi, I’m Rhi
I’m the face behind Precision Saddlery: an IASF Qualified Saddle Fitter (Stage 3 and 4) and UKCC Level 2 Coach, with 15 years as a freelance rider and coach. My background is in backing and producing young horses and working with problem horses, so I know how much a saddle can change the way a horse goes.
That’s why I look beyond a static fit. I bring a rider’s eye and an understanding of biomechanics to every appointment, so we can see how horse and rider work together.
At home I have two horses of my own, an 11-year-old ex-competition horse and a 6-year-old I’m producing, plus three Labradors who think they run the yard.

I have just had a dressage saddle recommendation and fitting by Rhi at Precision Saddlery. I had no idea what would fit, or ultimately what I wanted, however she has come up with what I hope (after some practice from a complete novice) will be the perfect saddle! My horse and I have always struggled with our collection and the difference over 2 weeks is phenomenal. We went out for our first competition with the new saddle and smashed the long awaited 70% which we just couldn’t achieve in the 3 years before the new saddle. I would highly recommend her for her friendly professionalism and in depth knowledge. Here’s to moving up to novice with a little more practice and a lesson or 2 with her!
I could not recommend Rhi more highly. She was incredibly thorough and paid such close attention to every detail, making sure the saddle was absolutely right for both horse and rider rather than simply settling for “good enough”. She was also really mindful of budget, which I hugely appreciated, and her experience as a qualified instructor added so much value to the fitting process.
